Git is a free and open source distributed control system. It is designed for coordinating work among programmers, but it can be used to track changes in any set of files. Its goals include speed, data integrity, and support for distributed, non-linear workflows.

Prerequisites

This course is for you if you are a developer or Build Release manager looking for a full-fledged practical guide that will take your Git knowledge to the next level. Basic knowledge of GNU tools and shell or bash scripting is needed.
