Successfully managing a project requires effective planning and adherence to the industry's best practices in every step of the process. The course is presented as a 3-day course, using an instructor-led format, stressing best practices in project management by use of slides and populated template examples. The course will use a sample project throughout the entire project life cycle. The course material stresses project management consistent with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK

IT projects come with distinct challenges for all project team members, and most of all for the project manager. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals and best practices of project management methodology as applied to IT initiatives.

Audience: Those who want to understand basic project management skills and concepts.
