Description

This course teaches the art and science of delivering successful projects. Participants will learn how to apply the processes, techniques, & tools for organizing & planning a project, as well as how to execute the plan, monitor & control, and deliver & close the project successfully. Chock-full of tips, tricks, & practical techniques that can be applied immediately, participants will learn secrets of the best PMs & the factors that make them so successful.

We begin by answering the question what is project management? and defining its roles, history, and dynamic industry profile. You'll learn how to define the scope and goals of your project, how to create a schedule, draft a budget and manage risk by anticipating what could go wrong.

This course is a great way to learn the language of Project Managers. This course will also focus on leadership components, such as communication excellence and the very essence of project management-knowing how to lead a team.

Audience: Those who want to understand basic project management skills and concepts.

Our facilitators bring real-world experience to every workshop

Participants will be led, not lectured, through a combination of presentations and hands-on exercises.

Our workshops provide an experiential environment where participants can take risks and make adjustments based on their results before approaching large projects.
