Description

This course is for the new user of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and assumes no experience with this application. The topics cover the fundamental concepts and features you'll need to master the program. This course is the first course in this series. Course PHO-CS202, Adobe Photoshop CS Advanced, the next course in this series, teaches students many advanced features, including tips and techniques for using the latest versions of Photoshop and for preparing images for the Web.

Prerequisites

This course assumes that students are familiar with the basic concepts of using personal computers and have used a mouse and keyboard. Students should also be familiar with the components that make up the PC, including input, output, and storage devices.
Students should also be fairly comfortable working in a Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information on their computer. Specifically, they should be able to navigate to information stored on the computer, manage files and folders, and work with multiple windows at one time. Students should be familiar with terms such as computer memory, data files, and program files.
No prior knowledge of Photoshop is assumed.
