This course is designed to teach you how to take full advantage of ColdFusion MX while building Web applications. In addition to introducing new concepts, the course focuses on best practices and design, stressing the importance of usability, optimization, and performance.
To gain the most benefit from this class, students should have completed the following course or have equivalent skills and knowledge:
Macromedia ColdFusion MX Level 1. You should have experience developing web applications using ColdFusion for at least three months after taking this course. Practical experience using CFML tags, functions, and variables and with the SQL command set, including SELECT, INSERT, and UPDATE is also required.
