Gain a fundamental understanding of the Linux operating system
This course introduces open source standards and common knowledge and skills needed in all Linux distributions. Attendees gain the essential skills required to log in to a multiuser Linux environment, navigate the SUSE Linux file system and manipulate files, work within shells and execute shell script commands, control processes running on the SUSE LINUX Server, and more. These skills are essential and prerequisite for an entry level Linux administrator or help desk technician in an enterprise environment.
Before attending this course, students should have experience administering any operating system in a computing environment such as an enterprise or academic environment.
