Our Adobe Illustrator course uses the latest version, but if you haven't upgraded yet, all courses feature work from earlier versions of Illustrator as well.
Adobe Illustrator is a powerful pen tool, which will enable you to draw virtually any shape with your mouse. In this two-day, instructor-led course, the first course in a series of two, students will learn the key techniques for working in this vector drawing environment.
Learn how to create artwork, made up of points not pixels, for virtually any project and across multiple media: print, websites, interactive projects, and video. Students will learn how to use the Shaper tool and Live Shapes along with dynamic symbols to streamline graphics creation. Perfect and align objects; create and edit shapes; transform objects; draw with the pen and pencil tools
Students should have a working knowledge of their computer and its operating system. Students should know how to - locate, copy and open files; create folders; arrange, re-size, minimize and maximize application windows; start and exit programs; manage use of multiple programs simultaneously; and switch between open programs.
