This five-day instructor-led course combines the content found in two System Center 2012 Operations Manager courses. Students will gain the knowledge and skills to install and configure System Center 2012 Operations Manager. In addition this class will prepare the student for managing their 2012 Operations Manager infrastructure.
Students will also learn how to successfully design and deploy Microsoft System Center 2012 Operations Manager. Students are introduced to the basic theory of service monitoring. They will also learn about configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operation of Operations Manager 2012.
After completing this course, students will have the skills necessary to manage Operations Manager for maximum business benefit. This course incorporates case studies and hands-on learning opportunities so students can practice applying business solutions to real-world scenarios.
Before attending this course, students must have:
-Familiarity with PC hardware and devices.
-Experience supporting Windows-based systems.
-Basic experience authoring and editing batch and script files.
-Experience reviewing Windows application and service logs.
-Experience configuring or supporting distributed application environments.
-Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 operating system and network configuration.
-Working Knowledge of Active Directory.
