Camtasia lets you record a video of what’s on your computer screen and turn it into a finished video. Record whatever part of your screen you need, down to the pixel. Capture windows, regions or your entire desktop and use it to make lessons, tutorials or product demos. Turn your screen recordings into compelling videos with Camtasia’s video editing tools, animations and effects.
Using Camtasia Studio 8, you can quickly create visual demonstrations of just about anything (computer software or PowerPoint presentations) and post your completed lessons on the Web, YouTube, Screencast.com or burn them to a CD. Your lessons can include videos of actions taken on your computer, animation, audio, quizzes and surveys.
This two day, instructor led course will introduce you to the essential skills you need to know to get up and running with Camtasia as quickly as possible.

Prerequisites

Because of the amount of material we cover in class, we do require students to be comfortable using a mouse, opening and saving files, and the general operations of computers. While we will make every reasonable effort to help, students with insufficient skills may be required to observe the class lessons or do their best to keep up without slowing down the rest of the class. We highly recommend working with the application tutorial before coming to the course.
