Create a database design that accurately & completely captures user requirements

Description

This course provides a comprehensive foundation for designing, building and working with relational databases. Students will learn the basics of relational database design and programming SQL database objects including tables, constraints, indexes, stored procedures, views and user defined functions. This is the first class to take to learn SQL database programming.

The course is appropriate for those involved in designing, building and using relational databases, implementing database applications, managing database development projects. This course works with SQL and is the first course students should take to learn SQL database programming.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, students should have attended the course, ISI-1236 Beginning T-SQL Querying with Microsoft SQL Server 2008, or have equivalent knowledge and skills.
