This Boot Camp provides the opportunity for IT professionals to obtain the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance certification and the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Database Administrator 2008 certification, two of Microsoft's new generation of certifications introduced to better reflect technology and job-role skills. Existing MCITO (SQL 2005) candidates may also attend this Boot Camp to upgrade their certification. All the exams to become certified are included in the Boot Camp.
- Three or more years dedicated to database
work, which may include two or more of the following phases in the product life cycle:
design, development, deployment, optimization,
maintenance, or support.
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
