You are familiar with computers and how they work. Computers have contributed to the rise and spread of the Internet, which has now become the driving force for networked societies around the globe. This course is designed for persons with a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, who would like to learn how to navigate and communicate with others over the World Wide Web.
This course assumes that you are familiar with using personal computers and launching programs. You should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information on your computer. Specifically, you should be able to launch and close programs, navigate to information stored on the computer, manage files and folders, and select text.
