InDesign is a powerful design and production application that offers precision, control and seamless integration with other Adobe professional graphics software. Using InDesign, you can produce professional quality, full color documents on high volume color printing presses, or print to a wide range of output devices and formats, including desktop printers and high-resolution imaging devices. You can also create Portable Document Format 9PDF) files, and convert your documents for use on the Internet by exporting layouts to XHTML or XML.
In this course, students, with experience using Adobe InDesign CS3, will learn how to create layouts for magazines, newsletter and brochures. They will discover how to make Adobe PDF files and prepare documents for high-resolution printing. In addition to gaining experience with good print design, you will learn efficient workflow techniques. If you're already familiar with previous versions of Adobe InDesign, you'll find a wealth of new features to make you more productive.
Before taking this course, students should have attended Course IND-CS301, InDesign CS3, Level 1, or have equivalent knowledge and skills.
