Description

You have basic computer skills such as using a mouse, navigating through windows, and surfing the Internet. You have also used paper-based systems to store data that you run calculations on. You now want to migrate that data to an electronic format. During this one day course, students will become familiar with the Excel 2007 environment; work with an Excel worksheet by entering and selecting the data in it; save the data in the worksheet; modify a worksheet; perform calculations; format a worksheet; develop a workbook; print workbook contents and customize the layout of the Excel application.

Prerequisites

Before taking this course, students should be familiar with the basic functions of their computer's operating system such as creating folders, opening programs, and working with windows. Students should have basic Windows application skills, such as copying and pasting objects, formatting text, saving files, etc.

Completion of one of the following courses or equivalent knowledge and skills is recommended:
