Acrobat 8 offers you faster file conversion and better control of your workflow. In Acrobat Professional, you have tighter integration with more professional and engineering applications, significantly faster document conversion; support for 3D objects; more powerful forms creating, distribution and data gathering; and the ability to include anyone with the free downloadable Adobe Reader 8 software in the electronic document review and forms fill-in and submission processes.
This course covers the basics of learning Adobe Acrobat, as well as advanced lessons for legal, publishing, engineering, design and construction professionals. The tips and techniques will help students become more productive with Acrobat.
Learn how to create Adobe PDF files from Microsoft Office programs, other popular authoring programs, image files and Web pages; review and comment on PDF files; explore the technical and prepress features; convert paper forms to interactive online forms; create interactive forms from scratch and more.
Students enrolling in this course should understand the basic concepts involved in working with a personal computer (PC). For example, students should be familiar with terms such as computer memory, data files, and program files. Students should also be familiar with the components that make up the PC, including input, output, and storage devices. Students should also be fairly comfortable working in a Windows environment. Students should know how to use the mouse, standard menus and commands, and how to open, save and close files.
Students should have some experience with common office applications, such as word processing, spreadsheet and web browser applications.
